Joined by a diverse group of farmers, the New Jersey Farm Bureau, agriculture experts, and local mayors to better understand the unique needs and challenges faced by New Jersey farmers.

In Congress, it is my job to fight for the best interests of the hardworking individuals and families who call our state home. One critical issue that continues to burden our residents is the cap on the State and Local Tax Deduction (SALT), estimated to impact more than 425,000 families across the state. It is long past time we restore this essential deduction and provide much-needed tax relief for New Jerseyans.

(July 26, 2023) Washington, D.C. – Today Congressman Tom Kean, Jr. (NJ-07) announced that thirteen (13) Community Project Funding requests made by his office totaling over $24,000,000, are included in key House funding bills for the upcoming fiscal year. All six counties in New Jersey’s Seventh Congressional District are represented in the requests highlighted below.
