Infrastructure

The Seventh District of New Jersey is home to some of the most unique transportation challenges in the country and helping solve them is one of my top priorities. We face congestion on our roadways, strained commuter rail system, and crumbling roads and bridges, and internet connectivity issues. I believe that we must get out of just fixing current problems and truly invest in a 21st century infrastructure. I will continue to support projects that prioritize innovation, leverage public-private partnerships (such as the Gateway Project) and maintain the safety of travelers throughout the district.
I’m committed to fighting for policies and projects that are critical to New Jersey and the region. This year, Congress will debate the reauthorization of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). This provides an opportunity to advocate on behalf of New Jersey airports and the hard-working individuals who keep our National Airspace safe, such as, pilots, air-traffic controllers, technicians, and many more.
I am also working to reduce the traffic problems facing our region and will strive to achieve solutions in national transportation policy and local transportation challenges.
