In attendance were Rabbis, Jewish leaders, local elected officials, and high school and college students from New Jersey’s 7th Congressional District.
According to the Anti-Defamation League, since Hamas’ brutal surprise attack on Israel on October 7th, 2023, the United States saw a 140% increase from 2022 in antisemitic cases.

Abipartisan, bicameral bill introduced by Congressman Tom Kean, Jr. (NJ-07) and co-led by Congressman Bill Pascrell, Jr. (NJ-09), the co-chairman of the House Fire Services Caucus, this bill will support and advance firefighter and first responder services across the nation.

The first-place winner of the competition is Ellie Beaugris of Somerville High School. Her painting, “Fall Sport,” will be displayed in the U.S. Capitol for one year and she will be invited to Washington, DC for a national recognition event.
