Kean Statement on President Biden’s Third State of the Union Address

(March 7, 2024) WASHINGTON, DC – Congressman Tom Kean, Jr. made the following statement after President Joe Biden’s 2024 State of the Union Address tonight: 

“This evening, President Biden failed to deliver a message to help unite a divided nation and he failed to demonstrate the strength and leadership that this American moment demands. With the absence of leadership that we saw tonight, it is important that Congress step up and deliver. We need to come together for solutions that will make life more affordable for every family, that will support safe communities, and that stand up to the emerging threats to peace and security around the world. We must not accept weakness and failure from our federal government – we must protect a strong America that we can leave to our children and grandchildren. I will continue to fight for a stronger nation here at home, and American strength around the globe.”  - Congressman Tom Kean, Jr.
