Kean Statement on Passage of FY24 National Defense Authorization Act

(December 14, 2023) WASHINGTON. DC – Congressman Tom Kean, Jr. (NJ-07) released the following statement after the passage of the Fiscal Year 2024 National Defense Authorization Act in the U.S. House today:  

“I commend the passage of the Fiscal Year 2024 National Defense Authorization Act. This critical, bipartisan legislation is essential to providing vital capabilities and resources to the U.S. Department of Defense and send a strong message to our adversaries. I applaud my colleagues for working together to get the NDAA over the finish line. I am thrilled to see some of my language related to AUKUS reform was included within the final package. We must strengthen our defense ties with allies like the UK and Australia to counter the threat of China.”  -Congressman Tom Kean, Jr.
